The Story & Philosophy Behind GrassMaster of Wake County
After working for a local lawn care company that was purchased by a national corporation, Jason Woodall started GrassMaster in 2002.
His vision was to build relationships with his customers and understand their lawn care goals. He wanted to use his knowledge and experience to customize lawn services to meet the needs of each individual person.
Jason strives to give each customer accurate information, along with recommendations built on experience, so that customers can make informed decisions about how to care for their lawn and spend their hard-earned money.
Jason’s philosophy on his business is straightforward: He increases your time! Jason learned how valuable it is to make time for your family and the people you love. And we all need time to enjoy the things we love.
But oftentimes, there aren’t enough hours in the day for everything. Jason loves to serve his customers by giving them the time to do other things instead of caring for their lawns.
There are lots of companies to choose from to provide your lawn care needs, and someone is always willing to offer low prices. We’ve seen lots of them come and go. However, after 20+ years of experience in lawn care in the Wake County area, Jason knows the balance to keep a business successful while treating customers with fairness, transparent pricing, and respect.
Using only visibility, as he drove about, and word-of-mouth referrals, the business rapidly grew and was incorporated in 2007 as GrassMaster of Wake County, Inc. We are grateful to serve the people of Wake County and are thankful to all the customers who have trusted us with their business over the years. We’re taking faithful steps to continue prudent growth and plan for a bright lawn care future.
GrassMaster of Wake County is fully insured with general liability and workers’ compensation insurance. We are licensed in NC for lawn care applications and participate in continuing education courses to stay informed about current lawn care issues affecting our area and new products that hit the market.
Jason Woodall is a lifelong resident of Wake County and has over 20 years of experience in lawn care, with many loyal customers who love his dedication and pride behind his work.
Jason loves being outside and interacting with people. He rarely meets a “stranger,” and when he does, they aren’t strangers for long.
Jason has been married to his wife, Gena, since 2000, and they have two daughters. They have moved throughout the county over the years, but are happy to call Angier their home. They are active members at Grace Community Church in Angier, NC.
